Edmond, Oklahoma is located in Oklahoma County, 13 miles north of downtown Oklahoma City. Situated in the center of the state, Edmond covers an area of 90 square miles. Major highways I-35, I-44, and I-235 serve Edmond, and I-40 is just 14 miles to the south. The state has plans to extend State Highway 74, which runs 4 1/2 miles to the west of the site.
Strategically located at the key intersection of Kelley Avenue and 33rd Street, Kelley Pointe is the new "gateway" to Edmond from Oklahoma City to the south. The Kelly Avenue “Flyover” being constructed at the intersection of the Broadway Extension (I-235), Memorial Road and Kelly Avenue will feature an expanded intersection, overpasses and off ramps. Additionally, the City of Edmond recently completed "boulevard” improvements on S. Kelly Avenue adjacent to Kelley Pointe which includes landscaped medians, traffic controls, and protected turn lanes.
Edmond's Central Business District, where a variety of shopping, recreation, government offices, cultural facilities and educational campuses are located, is just two miles north of Kelley Pointe. The local U.S. Post Office is located just across the street. Quail Springs Mall, a regional shopping destination, is just 4 miles away on the John Kilpatrick Turnpike. As a full-service, well-rounded community, Edmond offers extensive services and amenities.
Will Rogers World airport serves the Oklahoma City metro area, (with connections to all international locations) and is just 16 miles south of Kelley Pointe. Oklahoma City's Downtown Airpark, Expressway Airpark and the Wiley Post airport also serve the area.
